Welcome to Home-Start Wirral - offering home based friendship and support to local families as part of a wider network of Home-Start schemes nationally and internationally.

 

Home-Start Wirral was launched in Birkenhead in January 2000, and over the years has expanded to cover most of the Wirral, relocating to North Birkenhead in the process.

 

As with Home-Start schemes in other parts of Merseyside, nationally and internationally we find demand for our dedicated volunteers is always high. Families seem to welcome the support because it is so informal and based simply on friendship, trust and non-judgemental understanding.
