We have been awarded an amazing total of £1,946.30 that can be used towards creating a stimulating new soft play area, for children with disabilities.
Home-Start Wirral is one of more than 4,000 causes across the UK who have benefitted from the Local Community Fund, continuing to make a real difference in their local communities.
This funding comes from Co-op members and customers, a big ‘Home-Start Wirral’ thank you to everyone that has made our involvement such a successful one.
Raffle tickets are now on sale at the Home-Start Hub and at our Charity Shop for our Spring Draw, which will be held on April 11th.
Prizes not to be missed include a luxury hamper and a picture portrait session at Max Spielmann’s.
Please call in to purchase your tickets before 11th April, and if you can help by selling some as well, that would be very much appreciated, books are available at the hub.
Home-Start Wirral are always looking for new opportunities to raise funds to continue their important work supporting Wirral families.
We have an opportunity to run a ‘pop up’ charity shop at 29 Seaview Road, Wallasey, CH45 4QN. We have the premises and the stock, but we are short of enough volunteers to make the most of this opportunity.
You don’t have to be a current Home-Start volunteer, so please get in touch if you think you could help.
Please call The Hub 0151 608 8288 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you can help.
There are various times and different ways you could help between Thursday 16th March and Monday 20th March depending on your commitments.

How the fund works for you and the Home-Start Wirral Hub.
Every time you as a Co-op member, buys Co-op branded products and services, from buying a loaf of bread to planning a funeral, 5% of what you spend goes into your Co-op Membership account, which you can spend immediately or save for later.
In addition, the Co-op gives 1% of what you spend on its products to community projects selected by a Co-op store near your home. You can choose which cause your own 1% goes to. If you don’t, it is shared out between the causes of your nearest Co-op.
