Be You

‘Be You’ supports parents with Mental Health Difficulties who have been diagnosed with a mental health condition.

If you are currently living on the Wirral we can help! Being a parent is hard work and many parents need help at times.

Home-Start can make things a little easier, by offering friendship, advice and practical support during those early years when children are young.

Home-Start support thousands of parents ~ just like yourself ~ by using well trained volunteers, who have parenting experience and understand the problems you may be facing. All our volunteers visit you in your home on a day and time that is convenient to yourself, and the support we offer is tailored to meet your individual needs by providing:

  • A listening Ear ~ someone who will listen.
  • Give you emotional support, as well as understanding.
  • Practical Support ~ help you to get out and about or extra support to help with daily tasks.
  • Support to manage the household budget.

~ All you have to do is ask ~
You can contact us directly on 0151 608 8288 or you can ask your CPN, Social Worker or Health Professional to make a referral directly to Home-Start.
Once we receive a referral, we will arrange a visit to you at home and talk to you about what you need and what we can offer.
We will work together to find a suitable volunteer, someone that you can connect with and someone that will be a friend to you and your family.
